TERMS OF SALE
Liability: The item offered for sale and its description has been compiled from available data, but there is no guaranty or warranty on the part of the City of Southfield relative thereto as to quantity, kind, character, description, condition, and suitability for use for which it may be desired or in any other respect whatsoever. All material is sold “as is and where is,” and must be removed at Purchaser’s risk and expense. All sales will be final. The City may withdraw an item at any time from the auction sale. It is strongly recommended that you make time to inspect the equipment prior to placing a bid.
Pick-Up: If the equipment is not picked up within ten (10) business days after the auction close date, the City of Southfield reserves the right to retain or re-auction the equipment. The equipment can be picked up from the Main Municipal Building, 26000 Evergreen Rd., Southfield, MI 48034 on Monday - Friday, between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Arrangements for payment and pickup can be made by contacting the Purchasing Department at 248-796-5250. Purchaser must have a prearranged appointment in order to retrieve items. Payment: Only certified funds accepted, e.g., cash, cashier’s check or money order will be the only form of payment accepted. A 5% bidder’s premium will be added to the final sales price.
