SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
Oakland Schools intends to award a contract to the most qualified vendor for the purposes of providing catering and café services at Oakland Schools Administration Building located at 2111 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford, Michigan. It is our intent that this prime vendor will have exclusive rights to all catering activity in this building though Oakland Schools reserves the right to assign occasional events to other catering firms. Catering Services may also be requested for other Oakland Schools’ buildings as well as other training locations throughout Oakland County (See Section V: Specifications). It is the intent of Oakland Schools that the catering & café services operation will: Provide high quality, nutritious food service, to complement and enhance our professional development opportunities. Be distinguished by very high satisfaction of Oakland Schools’ employees, workshop participants, clients renting the professional development center and other guests. Provide employees and guests in our building with Café services to obtain cash and carry breakfast and lunch items. Provide an office coffee program. This is a two (2) year fixed contract beginning on July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2019 with options to renew for an additional two (3) years in one (1) year increments, up to a total of five (5) years. Pricing proposed as part of the solicitation process would remain fixed and in effect for the duration of the agreement.
