The scope of services for this project includes study phase services (including field investigation and verification of existing conditions), preliminary design, final design, permitting assistance, bid and negotiation assistance, construction administration, construction resident project representation, system operation and maintenance (O&M) manual updating, development of standard operating procedures, and system O&M training services pertaining to the project improvements. The improvements to be designed and administered by the consultant involve all engineering disciplines, including civil/site, architectural, structural, process mechanical, building mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls and Ovation.  The scope of services also includes addressing all facility modifications required to make low lift and high lift pumping improvements (e.g., demolition, facility protection during construction, replacement, rehabilitation, rebuilding, etc.), including replacement of the electrical equipment associated with powering, starting and controlling the pumping units. The scope includes development of system isolation plans, system shutdown plans, disinfection plans, and all aspects of meeting station demands throughout construction and putting the station back into service while minimizing disruption to the water supply system. The scope includes all ancillary and auxiliary equipment and services (e.g., service water, high pressure water, vacuum priming, compressed air, ventilation, cooling, etc.) and associated controls necessary to provide complete and functioning pumping systems.
