SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
The Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission (“GCMPC”) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to perform lead inspections, risk assessments, clearances, and asbestos inspections/assessments on both single and multi-family homes. The projects are funded in whole or in part with Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME, and Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) Funds. The Genesee County Home Improvement Program will have approximately 50-60 single family homes, on a yearly basis, requiring lead paint inspections, risk assessment, and clearances. The NSP Program will have approximately 65-100 single family homes, over the next two years, requiring lead inspections, risk assessments and clearances. Of those homes there may be approximately 1-5 that would require asbestos assessments.
