SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
GCCARD operates/administers a weatherization program in Genesee County. The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program (Weatherization) reduces energy costs for low-income households by increasing the energy efficiency of their homes, while ensuring their health and safety. The Genesee County Community Action Resource Department (“GCCARD” or the “County”) seeks to contract with licensed Mechanical Contractors for the Weatherization Assistance Program. Selected firms (Contractors) will provide furnace or water heater inspections, tune-ups, repairs or replacement services for established unit prices to homes in Genesee County. Contractors will furnish all tools, labor, equipment, materials and permits required to perform the work. GCCARD has many home maintenance and repair programs that we administer for the City and County residents. Over the next three years GCCARD anticipates working on many homes, in an effort to cover all of our program needs we are requesting for qualifications for the listed programs and services they provide.
