SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:

CUSTODIAL SUPPLY BID #912” ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Farmington Public Schools will accept sealed bids for Custodial Supply at the Purchasing Department, Lewis Schulman Administration Center, 32500 Shiawassee, Farmington, MI 48336.  All bids must be received by the Farmington Public Schools Purchasing Department, as designee of the Board of Education, no later than 1:30 P.M. EST on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 (bid closing) at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Purchasing Department will make a recommendation to the Board of Education who will award or reject the bids at their regularly scheduled meeting. No proposals will be accepted after the time of bid submission. A bid bond for 5% of the bid amount issued by a carrier licensed by the State of Michigan and with an excellent or superior rating from AM Best Company must accompany your bid proposals.  NO CERTIFIED CHECK ACCEPTED.  • All bids must include a signed “Familial Relationship Disclosure” form. • All bids must include an “Iran Linked Business Affidavit” The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all items in the bid; to accept or reject  any or all bids, to award the bid in part or in total; to waive any informalities therein; or for any reason, to award the contract to other than the low bidder. If either a unit price or extended price is obviously in error and the other is obviously correct, the incorrect price will be disregarded. Prices bid are to be F.O.B. Farmington, Michigan. All purchases are to be exempt from taxes, including state and federal taxes.  All bids shall be firm for sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening.
