SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:

Farmington Public Schools will accept sealed bids for Digital Cellular Phones and Service #902 as described in the bid specifications at the Lewis Schulman Administration Center 32500 Shiawassee Farmington, Michigan 48336-2363 All bids must be received by the Farmington Public Schools’ Purchasing Department, as designee of the Board of Education, no later than 1:30 P.M. (EST), bid closing, respectively on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Purchasing Department will make a recommendation to the Board of Education who will award or reject the bids at their next regularly scheduled meeting. No oral, telephonic, telegraphic or facsimile proposals will be considered. No proposals will be considered after the time of closing of bids. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all items in the bid; to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informality therein; for reasons of establishing uniformity; reviews based on quality of product and service (including past district experience); or for any reason deemed in the best interest of the District, to award the contract to other than the low bidder(s). If either a unit price or extended price is obviously in error or the other is obviously correct, the incorrect price will be disregarded. All bids must include a signed “Familial Relationship Disclosure Clause.” All bids must include a signed “Iran Linked Business Affidavit.” Prices bid are to be F.O.B. Farmington, Michigan. All purchases are to be exempt from all taxes, including state and federal taxes. Exemption certificates will be furnished upon request. All bids shall be firm for ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening. For bids to be considered they must meet or exceed all specifications herein.
