SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:

The CMHPSM is seeking new and current providers to re-credential and expand the current capacity in the four-county region for multiple services. This RFP will serve as an application for newly credentialed providers as well as an updated application for current credentialed providers. All providers must have the appropriate ASAM level of care certification from Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to ensure services match the medical necessity determination for individuals served. Providers can submit applications regardless of their location within or outside the regional boundaries. Key Objectives for this RFP: 1. Maintain the value of the Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) with the inclusion of recovery focused practices for all service providers 2. Ensure consistency across the region where “dollars follow the client” and ensure access to care is optimal 3. Ensure consistent coordination of care to provide seamless services and supports 4. Improve or expand capacity regionally to address gaps in services 5. Ensure service delivery is data driven with an emphasis on the continuum of care and community benefit 6. Continually expand community relationships to benefit consumers through collaboration and partnerships with key stakeholders and human service resources All services covered under this 2017 Treatment Provider RFP will be FEE FOR SERVICE described in the attached Appendix A. Treatment Providers must coordinate care between service levels to ensure continued engagement with services from one provider to the next. Additionally, for persons with co-occurring needs, coordination with mental health services is important as well.
