Sealed proposals to FURNISH ALL LABOR, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, AND TRAFFIC CONTROLS TO PROVIDE THREE-YEAR REQUIREMENTS OF STREET, PARKING LOT, AND ATHLETIC FIELD LIGHT MAINTENANCE, WITH AN OPTION TO RENEW FOR ONE ADDITIONAL YEAR will be received by the City of Troy at the office of the City Clerk, 500 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084 until THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM, EST, after which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Troy City Offices. Bid responses are not accepted via fax transmission. A cashier’s check, certified check, or money order in the amount of $2,500 must accompany the bid to insure the bid. The top three (3) bidders will have their bid surety returned after the bid award. All other bidders will have their bid deposits returned after the bid has been opened at least 72 hours. BID BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. The bid surety will be returned to the successful bidder(s) upon submission of the specified, acceptable Bonds and Insurance Certificates. The bid deposit will be forfeited if the final documents submitted are unacceptable and not delivered in the prescribed timeframes.
