SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:

The City of Southfield is accepting bids for painting of longitudinal pavement markings. The attached detail of locations, measurements and specifications are to describe the requirements for pavement marking application. All bidders must submit a bid security in the form of a bond or cashiers check made payable to the City of Southfield, in the amount of five percent (5%) of their total bid. In addition, the successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with, and provide insurance acceptable to, the City of Southfield. Samples of these requirements have been included for your review. This contract will be effective for a one year period beginning with Council approval. Additionally, this agreement may be extended for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods at prices mutually agreeable to the City and the Contractor, for a maximum of three (3) years.
