SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
The City of Rochester Hills is requesting proposals for two (2) portable flow meters and all necessary accessories and software to conduct inflow and infiltration studies on the City’s sanitary sewer system. The City’s intent is to purchase flow meters that can accomplish the following: • Record flow rates and correlate to time of day for short durations to determine if line leaks or illicit connections (storm sewer). • Use in partially full to full flow pipes and surcharged flow. Typically will be in 8”, 10”, and 12” diameter pipes. • Procure a flow meter that can be inserted from street-level to minimize manhole entry. • Procure intrinsically safe equipment.
