SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:

The City of Rochester Hills is accepting quotations for the one-time purchase of a professional concrete saw for use in the Department of Public Service Roads Division.  Unit prices are requested, FOB City of Rochester Hills Department of Public Service, 511 East Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. If you are interested in providing a quotation, please fill in the following information and fax or mail back by Due Date: October 28, 2009. All questions and/or quotations should be directed to Lisa Cummins, Purchasing Analyst, City of Rochester Hills, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309, Phone: 248/841-2537, Fax: 248/608-8178. Scope of Work The City of Rochester Hills Fleet Services Division requests quotations for a professional concrete saw for use in the Department of Public Service Roads Division.  Components and materials furnished shall be new and at least of standard quality currently used commercially, conforming to current engineering and manufacturing practices. Materials shall be free from defects that adversely affect the function or appearance of the finished unit. The components furnished under this specification shall be the manufacturer's latest current design. At time of delivery, completed vehicle shall conform to all applicable U.S. Department of Transportation and O.S.H.A. regulations. Unless otherwise stated by bidder, the bids will be considered in being in strict accordance with the City’s applicable standard specifications, and any special specifications as outlined in the bid document. Reference to particular trade names, manufacturers, or model numbers are made for descriptive purposes to guide the bidder in interpreting the requirements of the City, and should not be construed as excluding bids on other trade names, manufacturers, or model numbers unless otherwise stated.
