The City of Rochester Hills is accepting sealed proposals from qualified firms to furnish/provide all materials and labor to fabricate customized Fire Apparatus Hose Bed Covers to be used by the City of Rochester Hills Fire Department. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309, on Thursday, June 16, 2016 until EXACTLY 3:00 p.m. E.S.T, at which time and place Proposers names will be publicly read aloud. A pre-proposal meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. EST at the City of Rochester Hills, Fire Station #1 located at 1111 Horizon Court, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 in order for Contractors to become familiar with the scope of work specified and obtain measurements. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to determine and provide all materials required and incorporate all such items into their cost proposal. The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes quote documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of proposal documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain proposal documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at, click on City Government, Departments, Purchasing, Bid Opportunities and link to MITN website. Final proposal results will be posted on the MITN website after award.
