SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
Dated April 25, 2017: The City of Rochester Hills is accepting proposals from experienced and qualified firms to manufacture and deliver a pre-fabricated booster pumping system and facility. Additional construction services can be proposed and is encouraged. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 until EXACTLY 3:00:00 P.M. Local Time, JUNE 8, 2017, at which time the names of submitting proposers will be read. A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting concerning the project will be held on WEDNESDAY, MAY 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Rochester Hills City Hall, (Lower Level – Auditorium), 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309. A discussion of the project will be conducted at that time. Please reserve all questions concerning the project until the pre-proposal meeting. The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes proposal documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of bid documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain bid documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, select Government, Departments, Purchasing and Vendor Registration to link to the MITN website. Final proposal results will be posted on the MITN website after award. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the proposal amount. Proposal security shall be a bond provided by a surety company acceptable to the City, which is authorized to do business in the State of Michigan and shall be delivered to the City with the sealed proposal. THE CITY OF ROCHESTER HILLS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL PROPOSALS. Any deviation from the specifications must be noted on the proposal.
