SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
On behalf of the City of Highland Park's Community & Economic Development Department and pursuant to the above referenced subject, please allow this correspondence to serve as an Official Invitation To Bid. The City of Highland Park is soliciting bids for Housing Rehabilitation funded by the County of Wayne's Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). You will find attached Scopes of Work for the properties that will be funded under this program. Therefore, if you are a LICENSED, INSURED and BONDED Residential Builder and/or Licensed Roofing Contractor we welcome your participation in this program. To meet all spending restrictions and thresholds, the City of Highland Park is open to the submission of VOLUNTARY ALTERNATES to the specified Scope of Work. There will be a Mandatory Walkthrough on Thursday, August 11th @ 1:00pm. All bids shall be due on Friday, August 19th by 2:00pm eastern time at: City of Highland Park Office of the Clerk 12050 Woodward Avenue Highland Park, MI 48203 All bids shall be sealed and marked, CDBG HOUSING REHAB. (150 Moss) It is anticipated that bids shall be opened at the next regularly scheduled City Council Meeting. Please be advised that bids are awarded to, the LOWEST MOST RESPONSIVE BIDDER. The City of Highland Park reserves the right to reject and/or accept and and all bids as it deems in its best interest.
