SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
Description of Work Wet Interior – Abrasive blast clean the top 20 feet of the tank support columns and the interior roof to a SSPC-SP10 near white metal standard and apply a three-coat zinc rich aromatic urethane and epoxy polyamide coating system. Exterior – High pressure water cleaning (HP WC) 5,000 psi to 10,000 psi to SSPC-SP12, the exterior of the reservoir. Commercial grade spot power tool clean to a SSPC-SP11 standard and apply a three coat epoxy polyamide and aliphatic acrylic polyurethane outside coating system. The existing cathodic protection system will be deactivated during repainting work and reactivated following the First Anniversary Inspection. Miscellaneous Improvements 1) Install a set of handrails at the sidewall ladder to the roof hatch. 2) Remove and replace deteriorated grout and replace missing grout around the baseplate of the reservoir.
