SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
Each vendor may submit a proposal including up to three (3) different structure options, configurations and associated costs. Please include separate attachments for costs, pictures or graphic renderings of each option. The following is a list of the equipment and services to be provided: One (1) complete play structure, which shall be designed for children, ages 5 – 12. The play structure shall be of unique visual appeal and made of durable material. The play structure may include components such as slides, towers, and various climbing or twisting structures. The play structure may include attached climbing equipment “add-ons.” The structure design must allow for public construction via a “community build day.” Those performing the construction will have access to basic tools and supervision from Department of Public Works staff. The structure, when properly built, must be safe for all users. One (1) single post swing set containing two (2) to five (5) swings. The swing set shall match the play structure in design and color. Up to two (2) small additional pieces of detached and free-standing play equipment. This equipment may be designed for various climbing or spinning activities. Timber playground border. Delivery of all equipment and materials to playground site. Installation of foundations (if necessary).
