Sealed Proposals will be received at the offices of the City Manager/Clerk, City of Center Line, 7070 East Ten Mile Road, Center Line, Michigan 48015 up to 10;30am, Local Time, Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at which time they will be publicly opened and read for furnishing all labor, material, and equipment for the following: Remove and Replace 4" Concrete Sidewalks - 40,000 SF Remove and Replace 6" Concrete Walk - 3,000 SF Remove and Replace 8" Concrete Walk - 3,600 SF Remove and Replace 8" Concrete Handicap Ramps - 250 SY together with other related items of work. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS Plans and specifications must be obtained through Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) at www.mitn.info after 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. A public viewing copy is available at the City of Center Line, 7070 East Ten Mile Road, Center Line, Michigan 48015. Bids may be rejected unless made on the forms included with the bidding documents. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check, bid bond or cashier’s check payable to the Owner in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the Proposal. Checks shall be made payable to the City Treasurer. The Deposit of the successful Bidder shall be forfeited for failure to execute a contract and bonds within ten (10) days after award. Proposal shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of the bids. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bonds and Maintenance Bond, each in the full amount of the Contract. The right is reserved by the City of Center Line to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids or to waive irregularities in any bid in the best interest of the City.
