SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:

1.1 The Charter Township of Brighton is hereby soliciting proposals from qualified Operations and Maintenance firms to provide complete operation and maintenance of the Brighton Charter Township sanitary sewer system. Qualified firms must be able to provide a Certified Class B Plant Superintendent responsible for overseeing operation and maintenance (O&M) activities for the Brighton Charter Township Sanitary Sewer System, including the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and the Township’s local collection and transmission systems. The selected firm will provide a Class B operator and the staff necessary to perform laboratory operations and further O&M activities, as required. Scope of services include:  • Managing Plant Operation • Operate and Maintain the Local Collection System and Transmission Sewers, Including Customer Grinder Pumps • Meeting Permitting and Reporting Requirements • Performing Effluent Sampling and Laboratory Analysis • Performing Overall Site Maintenance Activities for the Sanitary Sewer System and Wastewater Treatment Plant (including grinder pump services).
