SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
The City of St. Clair Shores Department of Public Works (DPW) has secured a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) for Urban Tree Canopy Restoration. The grant will be used to hire a contractor to purchase and plant approximately 400-500 trees throughout the City at locations provided by the DPW. This contract consists of, but is not limited to, the following type of work on an “as needed” basis: • Furnish, Deliver, and Install Trees as Specified • Anchor and Mulch Trees • Water Trees • Maintain New Trees for a Period of 1-year • Remove Anchors and Re-Mulch Trees. Each pay item in the contract shall include all labor, time, and material to be performed by the Contractor necessary to meet City standards.
