SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:

Scope of Work. The City of Taylor is soliciting bids for CDBG Residential Waterproofing and Floor Bracing. This is a Federally Funded construction project and is subject to compliance with all applicable Federal Labor Standards, but is exempt from Davis Bacon Act. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount shall be required upon execution of the contract and prior to beginning work. Please email Jeff Baum for homeowner contact information.  jbaum@ci.taylor.mi.us 7744 Jackson St- Case #2016-05 Floor Bracing and Removal of Isolated Mold • Reinstallation of removed basement column and footing if required.  • Blocking shall be installed where floor joist are sitting above foundation wall. • Removal of mold that is in a small isolated area and treated with a mold inhibitor. • The area shall be dried with proper air circulation and de-humidification. • Pipe insulation shall be added to water meter pipes to prevent condensation from building up. • Quote to include all necessary Materials, Insurance, Labor, Taxes, Permits & Dump Fees 9053 Dudley- Case #2016-06 Bathroom Structural Repairs • Repair or replacement of existing floor joist. New framing for floor joist to match existing. • After framing is complete reset existing bathtub to level. • Existing wall tile and floor tile to be removed and replaced with contractor grade materials to match existing size and style. Color to be determined with owner. • The area shall be dried with proper air circulation and de-humidification. • Quote to include all necessary Materials, Insurance, Labor, Taxes, Permits & Dump Fees
