SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:

Scope of Work. The City of Taylor is soliciting bids for CDBG Residential Front Porch and Driveway Replacement. This is a Federally Funded construction project and is subject to compliance with all applicable Federal Labor Standards, but is exempt from Davis Bacon Act. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount shall be required upon execution of the contract and prior to beginning work. Please email Jeff Baum for homeowner contact information.  jbaum@ci.taylor.mi.us 22140 Samuel St- Case #2016-07 Leaking Front Porch Slab • Remove existing front porch slab • Install waterproof membrane over new 3/4” exterior grade plywood • Pour of new 4’ slab to existing size of original slab • Caulk along slab where slab is abutting to exterior wall with flexible sealant. • Quote to include all necessary Materials, Insurance, Labor, Taxes, Permits & Dump Fees 24881 Chernick St.- Case #2016-08 Driveway Replacement • Remove existing driveway. • Replace existing driveway to match existing 10’ wide driveway (widens to 26’ at rear of garage) from the front porch to the existing rear garage and rear entry sidewalk. • Field measurements shall be submitted with all quotes. • Proper base materials shall be installed and compacted per codes.  • Quote to include all necessary Materials, Insurance, Labor, Taxes, Permits & Dump Fees 6084 Princess St – Case #2016-09 Driveway Replacement • Remove existing driveway. • Replace existing driveway to match attached drawing. • Field measurements shall be submitted with all quotes. • Proper base materials shall be installed and compacted per codes.  • Quote to include all necessary Materials, Insurance, Labor, Taxes, Permits & Dump Fees
